UBC-Okanagan, Kelowna, BC

• Environmental Assessment and Permitting for a Biophysical Assessment: assessed terrestrial, aquatic and wildlife values and permitting requirements for various development options at a proposed UBCO campus extension site (Tetra Tech).

Nickle Plate Mine, Hedley, BC

• Benthic invertebrate, water quality and chlorophyll-α sampling and reporting on statistical results (Western Water Associates Ltd.).

• Lethal fish sampling using electrofishing equipment of small bodied fish to determine the presence of heavy metals in Hedley Creek (Western Water Associates Ltd.)

Mica Dam, Revelstoke BC

• Environmental Impact Assessment and Permitting for Turbine Transport to Mica Dam - Valemont, BC. Identified a suitable launching site based on field assessment results. Permitting was associated with moving a turbine on a barge across Kinbasket Lake. Conducted a baseline environment assessment of proposed barge launching sites and identified a suitable launching site based on the results (Associated Environmental).

Dam Replacement at Chute Lake, BC

• Terrestrial and fish habitat assessment for Landmark Solutions, north of Penticton BC – Conducted a field assessment and used the findings to inform an EMP for Chute Lake dam replacement (Western Water Associates Ltd.).

Dock Installation and Repair, Okanagan and Shuswap Regions, BC

• Completed numerous depth measurements, fish and riparian habitat assessments, Section 11 Change Approval Notifications, special permission permits, EMPs and, when required, environmental  monitoring and fish salvage to support dock rebuilding or new dock construction (Associated Environmental, Western Water Associates Ltd.). 

Foothills Mendenhall Subdivision Development, Vernon, BC

• Completed vegetation, aquatic, bird and wildlife surveys, along with an amphibian salvage and two riparian assessments,  to support several technical memos and an Environmental Impact Assessment for a subdivison permit application to support Phase I development (Western Water Associates Ltd.). 

• Completed environmental monitoring during clearing and developed a compensation planting plan (Western Water Associates Ltd.).  

• Senior reviewed the Phase I Ckearing Monitoring Memo and the Preliminary Environmental Assessments of  Phase II development and proposed development at a nearby property (Western Water Associates Ltd.). 

Southlands Subdivision Development, Vernon BC

• Completed vegetation, aquatic, bird and wildlife surveys to support a Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment for subdivison permit application  (Western Water Associates Ltd.). 

Sheerwater Estates Subdivivison Development, Kelowna, BC

• Completed biophysical assessment, environmental monitoring and environmental monitoring memos to support building development (Tetra Tech). 

Coldstream Creek and Kalavist Lagoon Assessments for the Society for the Protection of Kalamalka Lake, Coldstream BC

• Developed a Planting Plan and planting seminar for volunteers, and help plant over 400 native plants along Coldstream Creek at Creekside Park (Tetra Tech). 

• Completed a two year water quality assessment of Coldstream Creek (Western Water Associates Ltd.). 

• Completed depth sampling and sediment sampling in Kalavista Lagoon (Western Water Associates Ltd.).
