Three-year Vernon Creeks Baseline Monitoring Project for the City of Vernon. Project work involved collecting water quality, sediment quality and benthic samples seasonally, field water quality measurements monthly, and assessing flow measurements in Vernon and BX Creek annually over three years. Ten samples sites were routinely assessed and water samples were collected twice a year during storm events. Bacterial source tracking samples were collected monthly in 2018. WWAL wrote annual reports and a final report that presented the results of the study to City of Vernon Engineers and Officials. Results will be used to establish improved stormwater management solutions within city limits (Western Water Associates Ltd.).
